Desert R.A.T.S. Ultra Endurance Race Fundraiser!

As some of you may know I am currently training for another week-long ultra endurance race in June called Desert R.A.T.S. A 148 mile foot race along the Kokopelli Trail from Grand Junction, CO to Moab, UT.

Last year I raised approximately $5,000 for Animal Acres while participating in the Atacama Crossing. A 250k self-supported foot race across the highest and driest desert in the world. I'd love to not only reach that goal once again, but hopefully surpass it!

I am once again working hard to raise money to help build a RESCUE CENTER for Animal Acres Animal Sanctuary. This Rescue Center is critical in allowing Animal Acres take in animals from large cruelty cases, as well as provide refuge for large animals during California wildfires.

In addition to raising money for Animal Acres, I am also aiming to raise $5,000 for Wee Companions Animal Rescue. As many of you are aware of my love for little critters (I've adopted 4 from WC so far), it feels only natural to raise money for the little pocket pets while doing a race with the word "RATS" in it :)

To learn more about these two wonderful organizations, feel free to click on the above links! And to make your tax-deductible donation, please click on the widgets on the right hand side of the screen :)

You can also help Animal Acres and Wee Companions by searching and/or shopping at iGive.com! Select either Animal Acres or Wee Companions and with every internet search you do a penny will go to them. If you make an online purchase from any of the stores listed, a percentage of your purchase will also go to them also!

Thank you for visiting my blog! Let's make a difference and reach these goals!
